One Voice

Last nights primary proved something important. Even in an "off year election" people really do care about their elected representatives. About 30% of the registered Republicans and Conservatives came out on a Tuesday night to perform their civic duty and voted.

As we move from the primary to the November General Election we should all pride ourselves on our commitment to democracy.

One of the wonders of Columbia County is our ability to see beyond politics, to look past parties and alliances, to thoughtfully consider each candidate for their virtues, their records of achievement and to cast our vote accordingly.

There are no "red states" or "blue states" in local politics. There's only your neighbor, your friends, the people you run into on Main Street, bump into at the market, wave to on the road, see at the high school game.

Criminals don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat, if you're Conservative or Liberal.

Victims of crime don't follow party lines.

Your vote sends a message.

Thank You

Beth's primary win last night was the result of the good people of Columbia County speaking with one voice. No election is won without lots of hard work - walking the streets, making phone calls, putting up signs, talking to friends, getting out the vote.

To each and every person who helped in any way big or small, Beth thanks you.

To everyone who wanted to help there's still a general election coming in November and plenty of time to pitch in!

Give Angelo Valentino a call at 329-1636, tell him you want to help.

Send A Message About Negative Campaigns

You have a chance, on Tuesday, September 18th, to send a message that you won't stand for vicious, negative campaigns in this County.

You have a right not to have the real issues obscured by lies and attacks.

You have a right to know what the records are, not have them drowned out by a screaming attack caller interrupting your evenings.

You have the right to read facts, not half truths and lies, about the accomplishments of each candidate.

You have the power to change the tone of the race for District Attorney by voting out the candidate who is leading these vicious, unprofessional attacks.

Vote For Beth Cozzolino. Send the message.

Attack Calls

It has come to our attention that a good number of voters are being harrassed, in their homes, by vicious attack calls.

We want you to know that these calls are not coming from the Friends of Cozzolino, Beth Cozzolino or anyone associated with Beth's campaign, despite what the caller might say.

We've been told that they have been identifing themselves are being part of Beth's campaign.

This is an outright lie.

These calls are a desperate attempt by a very desperate candidate to KEEP VOTERS FROM THE POLLS.

We're very sorry that you've had to be subjected to them and again, promise you, they are not from us.
